OBJECTIVES:

1) To cultivate and increase communities involvement in various arts and cultural activities, primarily the performing arts through three cores that are preservation, conservation and retention.

2) To intensify the educational efforts and appreciation towards performing arts among the public through training and arts development programs.

3) To showcase ethnic diversity in Sarawak through performing arts.

4) To highlight quality and professional productions.

FUNCTIONS:

1) To provide performing arts services through Dance, Music and Theatre.

2) To provide cultural programs for State events and official functions at the national level.

3) To implement performing arts development programs through Yearly Cultural Programs.

4) To carry out previews for Foreign Artistes.

5) To document the Traditional Dance and Music.
